I don't think that I had a more fun time playing a game this year. Hands down Saints Row the Third was the craziest, strangest and mostm entertaining thing I played.
Engrossing storyline, memorible characters amd some devilish puzzles made this sequel to Portal one of 2011's greatest games.
Being Batman is so much damn fun. A rogue gallery of villians and fantastic new toys made being the Dark Knight a hell of a good time.
An early release that still managed to shine through a (lets face it ) bloated holiday market. I am totally on board for whatever Issacs next adventure will be.
Forget all of the issues that plagued this game before and after release. Forget that on second look it is very easy to see were the seams meet. The first playthrough of this title was amazing and keep me coming back until the bitter end. A wonderful game despite everything.
First and foremost I will probely never see the end of this game. I sunk a good 20 hours into the wolrd of Dark Souls and felt as if I had barely scratched the surface. Challenging and rewarding.
I have the PS3 version. 20 hours in and no major incedents to report. Skyrim is a magical place to live in. It feels like a fully functioning world were things are happening outside of what I am doing. I can't wait to continue my adventures and thats why it works.
I have no conection to the previous games in the series. That being said I couldn't put down this game. A fantastic world with great music (voice acting... not so much.) Adam may not have asked for it but I am glad that it came all the same.
I have little to no interest in anything the multiplayer offers. That being said I liked the campain quite a lot. Brothers to the End. Damn Straight.
Including this may lose me some cool points. But the experience that I had whilst playing was pretty darn good. Hope 3 is a little of this and Origins.
