Bayonetta

1. Bayonetta

This port came bundled with Bayo 2 and its a stellar version with some added costumes. Still an amazing game.

Bayonetta 2

2. Bayonetta 2

This was the deciding factor that made me get a Wii U. Its the pinnacle of the character action genre and one of my favorite games of all time.

Game & Wario

3. Game & Wario

Not a very good WarioWare game, but a pretty solid showpiece for what the gamepad can do. Still has loads of that WarioWare charm.

New Super Mario Bros. U

6. New Super Mario Bros. U

The NSMB line plays it too safe in my opinion. They're all solid games, but they don't have the same spark of creativity the 8bit, 16bit, and 3D games have.

New Super Luigi U

7. New Super Luigi U

NSLU comes closer with its weird time limit and Weegee physics. Plus, it has a cool green box.

Pikmin 3

8. Pikmin 3

Part of me misses the weird product placement stuff in Pikmin 2. All the real world knicknacks you could find were pretty cool. The hyper realistic fruit and vegetation are good consolations though.

Rayman Legends

9. Rayman Legends

It looks like an animated MTG card and you can fight toad monsters as a goth viking girl. 10/10

Shovel Knight

10. Shovel Knight

Strike the earth. Dig for glory. I couldn't resist the amiibo.

Splatoon

11. Splatoon

Its all the fun of an online shooter, but the worst you have to worry about is passive aggressive Mii posts floating above fashionable hybrid cephalopods. I would really love an expanded single player portion, that final boss fight was where it was starting to get really good.

Star Fox Guard

12. Star Fox Guard

I haven't even opened this.
