Portal 2 is a masterpiece. While that term might not pack the same punch as it perhaps should Portal 2 is as close to perfection as they come. The game is absolutely hilarious and without a doubt the most successful attempt at comedy in a game. Portal 2 brings genuine laughs that relies on the knife sharp writing throughout.

The only downloadable game to get a spot on my list Bastion is a fantastic experience all around. The visuals are stunning, the music is fantastic and the narrators smooth voice is simply perfect.

Alright, I am a huge sucker for Warhammer and this was basically my dream game for a long time. Not that excellent Warhammer games has not been done before but this was the first time where we got right into the heat of the action. It is a delight to hack, saw and blow thousands of Orks up in this very competent action game.
