Hello. It's January 2017. Happy new year. Here's a list of games that officially released in 2016 that I completed or basically completed, rated by me. Unfortunately, the list is always in descending order, so you'll see my #1 to #10 picks in order from best, to tenth best. My order is absolute.

Holy fucking shit. You HAVE to get this game. This is Doom. It's brutal, badass, and a non-stop thrill ride. The graphics, gameplay, music, everything all mesh together and the fun never ends. I was smiling most of the way through this game. The legendary Doom marine is reborn, and you are ready to kick every last bit of demon ass all the way to hell and back. Rip and tear... until it is done.
Ho, ly, shit. Ho, ly, shit. I've never been big into the Hitman franchise, myself, but IO Interactive REALLY knocked it out of the park with Hitman... now known as Hitman Season 1. They have perfected Hitman, and you'll know it if you play it yourself. It is amazing to play this game, but it is also incredible watching people play this game. Good luck, 47.
Very proud backer ("Song Senate" tier) of this project. Harmonix brought Amplitude back into a new generation, and the Kickstarter project almost fell through. ...Which means this never would have existed. Thank goodness it succeeded. I played this a ton ever since its release
Alright, after the garbage that was the original Dark Souls, this improves on both that and its sequel in every way. Also, it's still as fun and as frustrating as a Souls game always is. Bloodborne 2, what's good?
What can I say? This game is Rez. Rez-ass Rez. Up-rezzed Rez. It's the same amazing game it always has been, but now on PS4! New Area X is about an hour-long ride of even more fun. I only wish there was more. Classic Rez alone is worth it, but Area X is icing on the cake.
I was looking forward to this game ever since it was announced. I believe this game is made by two former Harmonix employees, so you know it has to be good. I didn't know it was going to be THIS good, though. This game is an incredible ride for those that like rhythm games. If you're not into them, I still suggest trying it out if you can.
Free. Third-person hack/shoot/kill-and-slash. Roguelike. Uncle Death is charming and fantastic, and I wish you could come across him more, but that's the way it is with this kind of game. You won't progress far if you don't just listen what the title of the game tells you to do. Let it happen, go again, and kill, kill, kill.
Jackbox Games hits it out of the park again with great party games in one pack. While all of them are great, there's always a real shining gem among the bunch. Trivia Murder Party is loads of fun. I would get this pack for that alone, but there's more games, as well! Play with friends and family.
I'm sure not many people have this on their top 10 lists, but I enjoyed this little adventure. Also, look up the Turing test if you ever have time. That's what got me to dive into this one.
I believe back in the day, Drew Scanlon at Giant Bomb introduced the original version of this as a flash game. This sparked my interest in this, and I had to back the Kickstarter project for a full game. It's not the greatest game out there, but it's very unique and I enjoyed the presentation.
