E3 2011 Most Anticipated Games

by jimmyjackjones

The Electronic Three has reared its massive head once more, and so once more we leap into the fray and pick out our most anticipated titles/hardware/stuff. This list will likely see a few changes over the course of the show as more media comes out, but by the end, I should lock down what I'm most looking forward to out of this show. So grab your spearguns and get ready for battle, for we shall now dive into the heart of this vast ocean and go head on against the Electronic Three!

Showing 1-10 of 14 items

Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

1. Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception

Easily one of my most anticipated games, though that was the case even before E3. Uncharted 2 ranks among my favorite games, so I'm obviously gonna be super excited for this follow up.

Mass Effect 3

2. Mass Effect 3

Mass Effect 2 is also one of my favorite games, so this is also an easy call for me. While the turret sequence they showed may have caused trepidation for some, I'm still confident that Bioware is making a kickass end to this epic trilogy.

Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time

3. Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time

I friggin' love Sly Cooper! And I am more than ready for a new game.

Super Mario 3D Land

4. Super Mario 3D Land

A new Mario platformer is all you really need to say to get me excited. But the trailer did look pretty neat.

Wii U

5. Wii U

So what is this thing? I've read the preview and I'm still not sure! Not nearly as intrigued as I was when they revealed the Wiimote for the first time, but still optimistic about the Wii U in spite of its stupid name.

BioShock Infinite

6. BioShock Infinite

Do I need to explain this one? I don't think I need to explain this one.

Assassin's Creed: Revelations

7. Assassin's Creed: Revelations

I'll just go ahead and mirror everyone else's hesitation about another Ezio game mixed with our trust based on the quality of Brotherhood. Let's see if they can pull this off again!

Rayman Origins

8. Rayman Origins

I have a soft spot for Rayman games, even though I've never beat a single one of them. I have really fond memories of the first one, and this looks like it's going back to that kind of style, so here's hoping it's good!

Uncharted: Golden Abyss

9. Uncharted: Golden Abyss

Not sure about the NGP specific controls, but they're optional. Hey, if you want to tempt me to buy your new handheld, an Uncharted game is a good way to do it.

Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon

10. Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon

I never really played the first Luigi's Mansion, so it's kind of odd that I'm pretty excited about a new one. Maybe I just have a soft spot for Luigi or something.
