The Original had so much promise and was a huge letdown, but at the same time still being a decent game. This one promises that it'll be better. I think I'm hooked again.
Have been a huge DICE fan since Battlefield 1942 and the multiplayer in this looks 'oh so good.' Hopefully they can make it different enough from the Call of Duty franchise in multiplayer and singleplayer.
Not necessarily an anticipation but a general interest. The trailer they showed yesterday convinced me it was at least something to keep an eye on.
Thought the first Gears was an adequate game, didn't get into it that much but loved the atmosphere and general mechanics. It was the second game that got me into the franchise though, just upping the ante with everything. I'm really lookin forward to this one.
