2013 was a weird year full of changes in my personnal life so I didn't played as much as I thought I would, but still, these are the 10 greatest games that I've played this year!

XCOM: Enemy Unknown was my 2012 GOTY for many reasons but the most important is that its so much fun! Its the perfect revival of the old XCOM games and this expansion adds a lot of content to it, the same way a Civilization expansion would. Perfect!
Tight gameplay, superb story and the very best graphics of that generation. I struggled a lot with my no 1 and 2 spot this year and this ended up being the 2nd only because I played XCOM more.
I hate Free to play. I think its stupid. I'd rather pay all upfront and get all the content. So I think it speaks a lot about Warframe when I say its my 3rd best game of 2013. I tried it on my PS4 mainly because of lack of games and it has become my favorite PS4 game. Its fast, fun, the loot grind is perfect and it has that kickass unique sci-fi setting. You HAVE to try this.
I was ready to give up on the AC series after 3 but man is it back in force! AC4 is still more Assassin's Creed, but with a very well implemented pirate twist. I was reminded of Sid Meier's Pirates all the while I played this, which is a very, very good thing.
This game is far, FAR superior in this year's console version to its original form. No auction house, better loot. This is Diablo 3 the way it should've been all along!
GTA5 is more GTA gameplay-wise. Where it truly stands out, is with the acting that those 3 characters deliver onscreen. Awesome performances.
I backed this on Kickstarter and man was I happy with the results! Shadowrun is back! Its a great little platform to play Shadowrun campaigns and it has that cool turnbased combat that I love so much.
Civ 5's 2nd expansion makes CIV 5 feel even more complete now. Its still one of the best turnbased strategy games ever made.
Cool combat, nice sequences. Its not as scary as it used to be but the action is well paced.
Original setting, nice art design. But the story felt short for me in the end.
