Deadly Premonition

1. Deadly Premonition

Maybe not the best gameplay of the year, but definitely the best experience. This game has never left my mind (or my heart) since I finished it. The music, the atmosphere, the characters, the story...unforgettable.

Super Meat Boy

2. Super Meat Boy

This is what I want out of a platforming game. Speedy, but controllable movement that allows you to just make a mad dash through many levels. And no Game Over or load screens between deaths! All accompanied by an amazing soundtrack.

Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

3. Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood

...there' so much stuff to do in this game, and I still haven't even touched the multiplayer!

Dead Rising 2

4. Dead Rising 2

A slight disappointment, as I still think the original Dead Rising is a better experience, but man, I spent a ton of time playing this game.

5. Alan Wake

I waited five years for this, and was it worth it? Kinda? Man, I have so much Alan Wake merchandise...

Wii Party

6. Wii Party

Four words: Hide The Wii Remote

Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth

7. Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth

...I actually still haven't finished this, but it's an Ace Attorney game! On the last case right now...

Minecraft

8. Minecraft

Not even actually out yet...but I played the Alpha a lot.

Final Fantasy XIII

9. Final Fantasy XIII

...just 'cause of the awesome battle music.

Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Portable

10. Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Portable

It's Persona 3, but you can control your party members and you can be a girl. Pretty cool.
