I didn't play as many games as I liked this year, but these are the ones I got around to.

By sheer playtime Apex takes the no. 1 spot. I'm not into competitive games, but Apex's formula was engaging and just plain fun.
Sekiro was less a game and more of an ordeal. At times empowering and maddening, it gradually became my favorite From game.
A game I do have nostalgia for. The experience was oddly melancholic yet I had the urge to replay it immediately.
Although I don't have nostalgia for Castlevania, this game stood on its own and was really enjoyable.
Great survival horror.
