2012 Games of the Year

by littleemille

My top games of 2012.

Showing 1-10 of 10 items

XCOM: Enemy Unknown

1. XCOM: Enemy Unknown

I've dropped over 170 hours into this game and I keep coming back for more.

Dishonored

2. Dishonored

The options that I had throughout were so damn engaging, it helped with the rather predictable story. Every kill (or not) felt satisfying.

Mass Effect 3

3. Mass Effect 3

Say what you want about the ending, this game was a worthy capstone to an epic series. I was just happy to be along for the ride.

Far Cry 3

4. Far Cry 3

Bang bang bang bang.

Borderlands 2

5. Borderlands 2

Loved this game for its corny story and crazy action. Another game that demanded a second playthrough.

Torchlight II

6. Torchlight II

A solid improvement for an already engaging series.

FTL: Faster Than Light

7. FTL: Faster Than Light

This was my introduction to the rouge-like genre. Nothing but love here.

Endless Space

8. Endless Space

I've been a big 4x in space fan since Master of Orion. This is the first game to really pick up that legacy in a way the keeps me coming back.

Prison Architect

9. Prison Architect

I've never been driven to such cruelty.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

10. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Specifically for the Dragonborn DLC.
