The console that opened up my mind to deeper games, RPGs in particular. Some of my favorite games of all time. I missed out on a lot of classics though. I didn't own many games when I was a kid, mostly stuck to renting. I also got a PSX late and barely 2 years before I got PS2

one of my favorite games ever. it was my first final fantasy and my first rpg that wasn't paper mario. i've replayed it about 7 times probably and i love it each time. everything about it just clicks with me. i still remember how to do everything in the game. magic.
i didn't fully appreciate this until years later. lightning in a bottle. magic.
i can forgive the questionable leveling system and convoluted time travel plot because everything else is so good to me. incredible music.
what a vibrant and colorful and whimsical world. i adored these games as a kid and still replayed them years later. magic.
they added more things to do and most of it was awesome.
they added even more things and most of it was still awesome but less awesome. some of the parts where you play as the secondary characters were questionable. but i still really enjoyed it.
LIGHTS OUT! GUERRILLA RADIO! so classic, so fun.
