Platform: Xbox Series S (Xbox Game Pass Ultimate) - Farewell Edition - Finished (01/02/22) - One of my new favorites. I started it late last year and was hooked. It gets a little tedious at times but I still loved it.
Platform: Switch (Digital) - Finished (01/26/22) - The first game I played on my new Switch OLED. A beautiful game with really nice story.
Platform: Switch (Physical) - Played (01/03/22) - This was a gift from Christmas. It's actually pretty fun. I'm not that great at some of the subjects, specifically math, but I still managed to unlock a good amount.
Platform: Switch (Digital) - Played (01/11/22) - When my Animal Crossing Switch stopped working late last year, it took my island, Eagle Isle, with it. I started a new Island, El Tigre, but it's just not the same. Going through the early game again just isn't something I want to do despite really enjoying the game in 2020. Oh well.
Platform: PS4 (Digital) - Final Cut Edition - Played (02/07/22) - I mainly wanted to see if the loading times were really improved since the last time I played it. They are much better now. I'll get to this at some point.
Platform: Xbox Series S (Xbox Game Pass Ultimate) - Hitman Trilogy Edition - Finished (02/13/22) - I played and really enjoyed Hitman 3 last year on the PS4 and had been looking to go back and play the first two. However, I found the options to but the first 2 kind of confusing. Thankfully, they came to Game Pass. The first is great and just as good as the third. Each level is really fun and clever.
Platform: Xbox Series X (Xbox Game Pass Ultimate) - Reached Hall of Fame (02/24/22) - Finally, got a Series X and this was the first game I played. I'm not big into racing games but this was fun. A lot of bars being filled up for everything. Ironically, I think the barn finds were my favorite thing to do. Ha.
Platform: Xbox Series X (Digital) - Played (02/26/22) - I got this game as part of a bundle with the Series X and another controller. In hindsight I probably should've chosen another game. I've never really been into From Software's games and this is no exception. I can see why it's well loved from the couple hours I put into it but it's just not for me. I may give it another go down the line.
Platform: PS5 (Digital) - Finished (03/04/22) - I secured a Digital Edition PS5 from Walmart and this freebie was a great introduction to the Dualsense controller.
Platform: PS5 (Digital) - Finished (03/18/22) - I bought this at release and played about 12 hours on the PS4 before moving on. It came with a free upgrade to the PS5 version and I remebered liking the combat so I decided to start over. It's a decent game. I actually really liked the art style but the gamplay loop just wore me out. I got sick of the vaults well before the end.
