Had to run with Arx Liberatis mod, to make it remotely playable. After dozens of hours it glitched and now shows me the opening cut-scene when I go through an area - which messes with the story and means I'll have to go back hours to even have a chance of it working right. Putting it on the back burner for now.
The cursor isn't working right at all, making it pretty unplayable until I figure a way around that.
There are graphical glitches pretty constantly, apparently this has something to do with running the game on a PC with multiple CPU cores, but I haven't been able to rectify this yet.
It runs okay, but I've gotten stuck on the second level. There doesn't seem to be anywhere to go, just a bunch of force fields. It doesn't look bugged, but I've tried three times, including one game restart. It's such a small level that I don't see how I could have missed anything obvious.
Wow. This is one of the poorest PC ports I've come across. I wouldn't be surprised if this is what Red Dead Redemption would have been like, leading to Rockstar not making one.
After too long, I've got the game running. Now I get a glorious 1080p resolution (again, took more work than it should have) and a silky smooth - 20-45FPS on my ATI Radeon 7970...
Can't get the game to run in 1080p, like I did Doom 3.
