2020, what a year. I played far fewer games in 2020 than in any previous year due to heavy work schedule, because while seemingly everyone else was kicking back, my days when into overdrive. Without further ado, the games I did play...

PS4: Easily my game of the year. Ghosts of Tsushima was terribly fun to play, and just a beautiful game. I found myself comparing Valhalla to it at every turn, which is probably why that games fares so low on my list, as both of these were easily my two most played games of 2020. The story was extremely well done, and that intro is something I will truly not forget for awhile. Since Last of Us, no game intro has made me step back and go wow until Tsushima. And while I'm not a huge fan of tons of fetch quests, I'm pretty sure I finished almost all of them here because of how they were mostly interwoven into the side mission characters. Very brilliant game, and I'm excited to see if Suckerpunch makes Tsushima a series, it's a game very worthy of exploring the Japanese Samurai culture, and one of the best Assassin Creed games I've ever played... Seriously, just make it AC: Tsushima and weave in a Templar/Assassin story, it was a better AC game than Valhalla in 2020.
PS5: Just finished Demon's Souls Remake, and wow, easily the best looking PS5 game so far. My only criticism can't be lauded at Bluepoint though, I just don't remember Demon's Souls being this short. I'm not a huge fan of multiple NG+ in these games, but I would have gladly spent another 20-30 hours in this world. Looking back on all the other Souls Series games, that's one thing they've improved is just making bigger games, but one thing is for sure, Demon's Souls was a very worthy jumping off point for FromSoftware, and Bluepoint certainly did it justice here.
PS5: If Ghosts of Tsushima didn't come out in 2020, I'd have said Valhalla was a fine entry into the AC Series, not the best, not the worst. It certainly lacks the punch Odyssey had last year in the story department, but I also think some of the Ezio games were worse, so... However, as much as most people hate the modern day stuff in AC games, Valhalla's Ending somehow had more of a WTF moment than did Odyssey's finding out Kassandra was still alive and had made multiple impacts on history. But from what I gather about the DLC, that story was garbage and really hurt the Layla story and where it could have gone. But I wasn't expecting them to bring back the actual Norse God Loki as a modern day... protagonist? I mean, Loki is who we following jacking into the memories of Eivor. Now that I think about it, the Eivor story was really the one lacking, with Sigurd kinda just going off the deep end halfway through for no seeming reason. It just felt like a game rushed out of the door story wise, and with such great Viking shows like Vikings on History, it's hard to get really into anything here. It was a perfectly adequate entry to the AC Series, but I feel like
