I never played a Scribblenauts game before, and it was kinda simple but fun. It can also get really dark in ridiculous ways, which is always a good time waiting to happen.
Played well past the point of it being fun and finished the Symphony of Souls. Fortissimo was just pure chaos and it was hard enough to see the bullets as it was. It was pretty fun on mezzo-forte though.
Pretty good, but I could live without the pixel hunt portion. I mean, I made a guy get fucked by a bear to progress, so how can you not love that?
Finished all the modes. Knight was the weakest, I think. Kinda wish there were more Hero 300's, but I suppose that's against the purpose. Fun in short bursts, but I don't think I ever want to play it for more than 15 minutes at a time.
Granted, I haven't played one since 3, but I thought it was fun, and I didn't even die like a billion times playing on normal. That Raptor News Network boss fight was pretty amazing. Think I might go back for the collectibles.
Clever little puzzle/adventure game, with a ridiculous amount of dancing.
Pretty cool game once it finally stopped flickering and crashing all the time. Dungeon and random encounter variety was a little low. My bruiser, slayer, and medikus team was pretty savage once I finally upgraded all their boosters/implants.
I've had it since 2 came out, but never bothered to play it until now. I thought the story it told was pretty cool, but the way the camera jerked around was pretty annoying.
I enjoyed it, though at this point I already know all the tricks that the game is going to pull on me. Oh, the door malfunctioned, bet I'm going to fight a bunch of necromorphs or I bet shit's coming up behind me that I won't be able to see because of the super tight field of view. The weapon creation system was pretty rad. My weapon creation protip, put acid bath in a support slot.
Came back to it a year later. I also went through the whole game without realizing that you could revive people that died in battle by casting a recarm spell in an empty spot on the map. Go figure. Ranged demons become way too overpowered at some point, especially when you're rocking a demon with multi-strike and high str/agi. I created a whole new world and got a nice image of a beach. I only managed to fill in about 55% of the compendium though, which is like a dagger in my generally completionist nature.
