Dissidia: Final Fantasy

1. Dissidia: Final Fantasy

So, its a fighting game...not a bad one either. Could have been so much more than a quasi board game though. Introduced me to Terra though..and how to say Zidane properly...apparently.

Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops

2. Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops

MGS on the PSP. People complain about the recruitment aspect. I enjoyed it. Once i tweaked the controls to my liking I had no problem with the game. Great storyline presentation too.

Super Robot Wars MX

3. Super Robot Wars MX

Gundam Eva other crazy robots in an SRPG. What..is this really surprising considering my tastes? oh..and Domon Kasshu is in it with the God Gundam.

Macross Ultimate Frontier

4. Macross Ultimate Frontier

Best arcade type game on the system. Based of the Gundam Universe engine, you play though all of the Macross series. You're able to switch from Battloid to Jet at whim. So for all those Robotech fans out there..you don't know what you're missing. It also has Nekki Basara in it. Nearly as god like as Domon.

Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days

5. Disgaea 2: Dark Hero Days

A fantastic port of a great game. Shove in some more unlockable characters and some features from D3 and you're on to a winner. The levels also seem to be streamlined compared to the original to allow for bitsized gaming. This'll keep me busy till Peace Walker and Valkyria Chronicles 2...and P3P

Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce

6. Dynasty Warriors: Strikeforce

Its actually kinda fun if you enjoy mindless button mashing. Thats about it..oh and the customisation is impressive in a way.

Metal Gear Ac!d

7. Metal Gear Ac!d

An odd sidenote in MGS history. Plays like a mixture between an SRPG, a card game and normal MGS. If you like the sound of that and typically crazy kojima storylines then..you should take a look.

SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs - Tactical Strike

8. SOCOM: U.S. Navy SEALs - Tactical Strike

Reminds me of full spectrum warrior..which is a very good thing. Shame about the load times, but nothing's perfect.

Generation of Chaos

9. Generation of Chaos

Nice idea, badly done. Its rather like if the total war series was done by the japanese. and they completely missed what was so engrossing about the battles and made the UI typically japanese (nigh on impenetrable.)

Phantasy Star Portable

10. Phantasy Star Portable

Another go around on one of my favourite time wasting games. Force Nu-man ftw
