I'm no fan of the post 360 Microsoft Era...I'll make no bones about that. I believe they went from the successor to the Dreamcast straight into 'Hey shooting things sell..lets make more of those..but with less character design and plot..no..no one bought Viva Pinata ignore that' irrelevancy to me. However I love..loooove..the original Xbox and due to the falling prices on the majority of these games I've amassed quite the collection over the past couple of years.
I have yet to play most of them so will only add comments to those I have.
Notable absences:
Halo 2: Don't like it..at all.
Most Star Wars games - have them on PC.
Sports games - Hah.

I enjoy the tactical aspect of the BiA series..it's probably long gone with the reveal of Furious Five or whatever they're calling it.
A passable Diablo style action RPG for up to 4 players on Xbox or Gamecube..using the White Wolf background it's fun.
The 2 player crazy beat-em up from the world renowned series. It's good fun and has a surprisingly competent combat system. Scorpion and Sub Zero can be unlocked as well...
One of my favourite tactical games of all time, command a fire squad (or two) into multiple scenarios of conflict..it works great with the controller and is just a solid game.
A free roaming GTA style game..just you're an Alien..with all that entails. The jokes wear very thin after a while and who decided that Jack Nicholson should be the inspiration for the main character's voice?
John Woo via Raymond Chandler with a Scandinavian twist. You'll have played this game and it's lesser, but still great, sequel.
