2018 GOTY Top 7

This year has been quite the year for me both personally, professionally, and in terms of videogames. I made more of a concerted effort to complete the games I started although there are several games I have started, e.g. Red Dead Redemption 2 and Return of the Obra Dinn, that I really enjoyed but did not get far enough into to consider for my list. In years past I bought lots of small bundles and never ended up playing 95% of those games. So in an effort stop doing that I tried to buy fewer games but actually put in the time/effort to beat them if I was actually enjoying them. Even with buying fewer games I ended up playing and really liking several games outside of my normal genres and preferences.

With all that said below is my Top 7 for 2018. Why 7? Because I didn't play and beat a ton of games (though I did play enough to actually make a 10) and 7 as a number holds a lot of meaning to me that would take to much time to get into here. Without further ado my GOTY Top 7 for 2018.
