Lets see how many 2014 games I played. Also included are my reasons for those games that did not make it to my top 10.

I enjoyed the atmosphere and the art. I did not like the combat or the light management. I liked the solemn narrative, but found the mechanics outside of it obtuse and frustrating. Note: I contributed to the kickstarter for this game and feel that the developers produced what they promised. I am glad that this game exists, but I did not enjoy playing it, only looking at it.
I had a short run addiction to hearthstone that ended when it became clear that I had to really sit down and paw through the cards. It is a very enjoyable game that I am not ready to devote the necessary time to just yet.
Everything I enjoyed about this game comes down to it is a better looking GTA than the currently available PC GTA games. The story is ridiculous and the "protagonist" is insane. The one thing that kept me interested for an embarrassing amount of time is how much Aiden Pierce's scripted personality matched the stereotypical open world players' actions.
