I've had 4 of these through the years. My first time to play one was at friend's birthday party back in '87. His parents set up a kind of treasure hunt through his house. At the end was the NES Action Set. Pretty cool for parents huh? Best Games: The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros. 3, Metal Gear
The very first console that I bought with my own money. Picked it up from a pawn shop. Best Games: Super Metroid, Street Fighter II Turbo, Final Fantasy VI (III for those of us who remember!)
I bought this about a week after my son was born. He's 14 now. Best Games: Doom 64, Star Wars - Shadows of the Empire, Legend of Zelda - Ocarina of Time
This damn thing would give me a splitting headache every time I played it. Only game I ever played was Mario Tennis.
Purchased it from a co-worker. Paid $100 for it. Came with 2 controllers and 3 games. A few months back, I bought a controller "s" for it. You can still get those things on Ebay and Amazon. I have 2 of em. A 20G from a few years back, and a 250G slim. The 20G has red ringed once, and also had some fan issues that have been repaired by MS. Best Games: Mass Effect 2, Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion, Fallout 3
