    Overview

Turbo Technologies, Inc. (TTI) was a Los Angeles company co-founded by NEC and Hudson in 1991 that was given the US publishing rights for the TurboGrafx-16 and TurboGrafx-CD consoles from NEC Home Electronics, which had published the majority of TG-16/TG-CD games up until that point. It was specifically created to produce and market the new TurboDuo console, which was a combined TG-16/TG-CD with updated RAM, and the "Super CD" games developed especially for the enhanced system.

TTI would continue to publish TG-16/TG-CD games for the US market well into 1993, after which the TurboGrafx brand would vanish (1994 would only see a single game: the CD version of Bonk 3: Bonk's Big Adventure). The vast majority of games released on the TurboGrafx-16/TurboGrafx-CD between 1991-1993 were published by TTI.
