Anybody here have any favorite tower defense games?

I really enjoy Pixeljunk Monsters.
and recently I've been getting into Monster Castle Defense, which is browser-based, but really good.

The Warcraft 3 mod was the first I played and the best IMO.

Plants Vs Zombies, Fieldrunners and PixelJunk Monsters are some of my highlights, Man I love TD Games!

Sanctum Co-op is pretty fun, some crippling gameplay issues that need to be ironed out though.

If you like TD games - look out for Dungeon Defenders, supposedly cross platform too.

Defense Grid is really good, also PvZ

Bloons Tower Defense was the only one I really got into.  I got to the point in the circular level where I can leave it alone for hours, in part because lag was involved.

I simultaneously love and hate TD games.  They tend to suck up so much time.  Anyway, the Gemcraft games have always been my favorite.

Defender Chronicles for iOS is amazing!

The starcraft mod was the first I played and that was pretty awesome.
Desktop tower defense was probably the best one I have played, although it has been "upgraded" to the point where it is unrecognizable as the charming little game I played many years ago.

DesktopTD is browser based and free, i'd recommend it to anyone that hasn't seen it and they have the old versions archived at handdrawngames.com, I personally think the older versions are far superior to the new ones.

This is pretty much spot on. I loved DesktopTD but the latest and greatest versions aren't what I'd call the best the concept has to offer.

If I had to pick a favorite TD game... well I doubt I could. I really like Defense Grid and put more hours into that on Steam than I care to mention is mixed company. I enjoyed Sol Survivor quite a bit too. PvZ is pretty fun.

I dunno if I could pick a favorite. If I had to, I'd probably say Trenched (Iron Brigade). Though that's as much shooter as it is TD.

The Gemcraft flash game took one of my design classes by storm. My instructor was hopelessly addicted, as well as 3/4 of the class. I can't stand TDs, so the next couple of classes were annoying.

I guess Sanctum is the only TD I can tolerate really. Do not like the genre.

Trenched was my 3rd favorite game of last year. I also really like PvZ, though I'm not a big tower defense fan. Also Iron Brigage was pretty good too...

I played and enjoyed so many tower defense games it's hard to pick a favorite... I sure would love a sequel to pj Monsters. Lately i have been playing Kingdom Rush and thats a pretty enjoyable one.

@Vigorousjammer: Just played through Monster castle defense on normal and that was pretty nice!

Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life As a Darklord

It was an impulse buy and I ended up playing it way more than I should have.

Definitely Plants Vs. Zombies: That game was great in every way (well, except for the part where it erased all of my save data ;_;)

Defence Grid. I was enjoying Kingdom Rush on iPad but then I lost right at the end of one level in a really cheap way which I had no way to prepare for at all, so I ragedeleted it.
