I'm thinking of getting a bunch of Tom Clancy games, and i was wondering whether Advanced Warfighter 1 is 'The Shit' of the franchise, or whether AW2 is just as good, which means i can skip one

so is the first a must or can i just play this sequel and it's all the same ?

@Ahmad_Metallic: Just get the second one.  SP is pretty cool, though a little dated imo.  Online coop is where its at though, that is really fun with 2 or 3 friends.  People still play coop online too so you can hop in on your own.  I never dared  to venture into competitive mp though.

If you like the coop theres a lot of dlc for more missions that i've gotten a lot of mileage out of.

Graw2 has an horrible single player. Graw1's single player is outstanding. At least, was, back in the days.

I would say you can stick with the second one.  It is pretty much the same.  Unless you are into the story or something or want some points.  But the AW2 has everything the first has, with better graphics and small improvements on the gameplay.

You could start with the original Ghost Recon.

It still holds up pretty well.

Play the first one, it's a great game. I don't really like Graw 2 though and I still haven't finished it.

Wait... you realise the console and PC versions of GRAW (both 1 and 2) were totally different games right?  Which are you thinking of getting?

Understandable. I simply prefer the origonal because it focused more on stealth and recon rather than the run and gun games current tom Clancy games have turned into.

Ok good, I was going to post this, but I couldn't remember if these were the games I thought this was the case for.

@Ahmad_Metallic: I recommend you pick up both Rainbow Six Vegas games, if you haven't already.

The first GRAW on 360 is an amazing game. The single-player is much better than the sequel.
