So first off, I've never played Majoras Mask so was going to watch the quicklook but one of the comments said its spoilery. Do you think it's best I avoid it?
I know some of the basics of the game - it's pretty weird/dark/depressing (heard the theory Link's actually dead), there's a 3 day time travel mechanic with timed events/quests, Link can wear creepy masks and there's a freaky evil moon but that's as far as my knowledge goes.

I've a limited history with LoZ. I've played but not completed Twilight Princess, Phantom Hourglass and Windwaker HD. I've enjoyed these games but since I haven't finished them I've been reluctant in getting any more LoZ games.
Majoras Mask is tempting me though, more so then the others mainly because I really like the sound of its 'dark and freaky' vibe. I guess my question is would you recommend it & how different is it from the other games? Or is there another game you'd suggest I try instead?

It's worth saying I doubt I'll get all the LoZ games so I'm not really concerned about the overall series timeline(s) or anything like that. Out of the ones I've played Twilight Princess is my favourite, not sure if that helps at all.

Any opinions are much appreciated! (I might be slow replying, I'm supposed to be revising)
