With it being a few days since majora hit and no mention of any video content on the game in the site schedule I'm starting to be a little confused. The quick look for oot3d was 2 days before it released and they have been talking about it on the podcast so something must be up. My best guess is that they are trying to get patrick to hop over to be a guest on the quick look since he was way in on the whole majora debate when he was at giantbomb.
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask
Game » consists of 21 releases. Released Apr 27, 2000
The follow-up to Ocarina of Time sees the series stalwart Link embark on a journey to save the land of Termina from being crushed by the moon in three days. To defeat the Skull Kid, Link has to live the same three days over and over again.
Is jeff holding off this quick look?
as much as i'd like a guest spot by patrick i'm pretty sure they either won't do one or it'll come late and be helmed by dan and probably drew or brad, and a LOT of people will be made irrationally angry by it.
... a LOT of people will be made irrationally angry by it.
I can't wait to read the comments section on that one.
Well, that could be said for any Nintendo game.
Patrick is in Chicago, I don't think he'll just "hop over" just to do a QL but the idea of having two opposing sides featuring Team Brad/Jeff and Team Patrick/Dan argue over Majora's Mask sounds great.
As if 10 minutes of the podcast devoted to grown-ass men getting angry about a Zelda game was all fun and stuff, a Quick Look is not...something I would look forward to.
Alternatively, lock Jeff in the Quick Look room, force him to play Majora's Mask while he watches Patrick stream Yoshi's Island, and Dan plays Super Mario Sunshine on another screen.
That might be interesting.
I hope they do a Jeff/Dan QL because that would be funny as hell and thats all I really want from GB content.

Every single time a Quick Look isn't released the day the game is, people start stupid-ass threads bemoaning the horrific loss and the void in their chest created by lack of video content. Maybe wait a couple of days or better yet, don't do it anyways. It's not like it's going to change anything. Speaking of which, maybe we should just start a change.gov petition every time a QL comes out late.
The Quick Look was actually completed but Jeff ripped out the hard drive it was recorded on, threw it into his trunk, sealed the trunk and drove his car in the sea, never to be seen again.
They didn't do a quick look of Pokémon Omega Ruby or Alpha Sapphire (the remakes of Ruby and Sapphire) so I won't be surprised of they don't do a Majora's Mask 3D quick look.
Edit - @corevi Majora's Mask 3D is not exclusive to the New 3DS (at the moment, only the upcoming Xenoblade Chronicles 3D port is) and the only difference on the New 3DS is minor performance differences and the ability to control the camera with the nub (which is available on the old 3DS by the Second Circle Pad peripheral anyway). That's the only real difference, as far as I can tell (or find out via quick searches) so Quick Looking it on the normal 3DS capture gear would be fine.
Hey, reminder: Patrick Klepek no longer works for Giant Bomb.
Nintendo always sends out download codes for review, Dan's been playing on his New 3DS, and they don't have a way to capture off of it. Someone's probably going to have to play through it on a cart or on the capture 3DS to put together, and it's probably already too late.
No quick look for Majora's Mask.
Majora's Mask abbreviates to MM.
M&Ms paid CBSi to not do a quick look.
Jeff knows the truth, that M&Ms cause chemtrails, and he's being silenced.
Follow the money.

Also to everyone else, it is an American holiday weekend. There is alot of content they got ready. And they have discussed this in depth and are choosing what is best for the site.
it's a conspiracy. jeff is trying to suppress any mention of majora's mask xd
edit: goddamnit, beat to it
Kinda pointless to have Jeff on the QL. Pretty much like having him on the Monster Hunter QL.
We know his exact opinion on the game. He doesn't have anything to offer on this particular topic.
Not to digress, but having him on Demo Derby is fucking fantastic - cause considering the dude's encyclopedic knowledge of video games, he can tell us a lot about things that many of us don't really know much about, while being pretty funny as well.
I would watch something Zelda. I mostly (but not all) dislike the Mario dimension of Nintendo. But Legend of Zelda brings back memories, it was my wife's favorite game. And I'd like to see Pat on the site again.
Now MY twisted side...Jeff, pull the trigger!!!!! It's been years Jeff, since the Review of the Century. I can go back and read the responses to that Review only so many hundreds of times.
I actually want to see some of the game, so I would be really bummed if Patrick was some how included in the quick look.

He knows. That's why he implied that Patrick would come over to GB to do a Quick Look. However, I still think it's unlikely.
My ideal scenario is a single video containing 2 Quick Looks. The first being Dan looking at Majora's Mask (maybe with Drew) the second being Jeff looking at it (maybe with Brad). Maybe the Dan one dies in the middle of something and then Jeff cuts in like some tv hacker bullshit or some WWE interruption. Hell he could even get Dr. Tracksuit in on it.
They'll release it as an audio drama circa 1920's-1950's, or they won't do one because who really cares at the end of the day.
PS it's still a really good game, but sadly not the best zelda game, follow the money.
Nintendo's embargoes and stuff are weird. They probably couldn't have shown anything (without restrictions) before release day, which happened to be a weekend. Additionally it's probably not a huge priority for them anyway -- it's not like anyone needs to see a QL to know if they're interested in a Majora's Mask remake or not.
I think Jeff might honestly appreciate some of the changes Nintendo has made to the game. The save system is no longer such a huge annoyance which I bet bothered him in the original N64 release - all statues save permanently now and there's more of them. The notebook is also improved to better tell you about various events.
Giant Bomb has a Majora's Mask defender, no need for Patrick to return for a Quick Look. If you want to hear Patrick talk about MM:3D he spoke at length on one of his YouTube Demon's Souls videos. He's got a bit of a technical issue with his 3DS, but it sounds like he intends on doing some sort of feature on the game.
@geraltitude I want a Dan and Drew Zelda series more then anything! I hope this Quick Look is a three man operation.

The Quick Look should just be a closeup of Jeff's face with him saying, "Fuck Majora's Mask." Shortest QL ever.
That would be funny if it wasn't the best Zelda game of all time

That is precisely why it would be funny. More so because it's entertaining watching people get enraged about someone not liking a game they love, though.
