    Overview

    The Horus Heresy: Betrayal at Calth is a sci-fi dark-fantasy turn-based strategy game developed and published digitally by Steel Wool Studios for the PC on May 28, 2020. It was originally released as Steam Early Access on February 27, 2018.

    A digital adaptation of the 2015 board game of the same name, Betrayal at Calth is set in the Warhammer 40,000 universe during a galaxy-spanning civil war (dubbed the "Horus Heresy") in the 31st millenium. The game's story is set between two Adeptus Astartes factions, the loyal Ultramarines and the corrupted Word Bearers, in the Ultramarine-occupied world of Calth.

    In addition to full campaign and multiplayer modes, the game features room-scale VR support, allowing players to get a "human-scale" view of combat.
