Pac-Man enters the lucrative world of falling block puzzles.
A falling block-matching puzzle title from Namco created for the Arcades and ported to the Super Famicom in 1993. It was not released outside of Japan.
Aside from including a traditional Tetris mode, Super Tetris 2 + Bombliss included Bombliss mode that featured bombs used to destroy surrounding pieces after a line was completed. It also included a Tetris "C Mode" in which the ground level blocks automatically rise after a set number pieces are destroyed.
A tile-matching puzzle game with characters from the Mario series. Shift around a group of delicious cookies in order to make matches and clear them out.
Puyo Puyo is a competitive puzzle game. Pieces drop from above a la Tetris and players must connect four contiguous pieces to for them to pop.
An arcade-only sequel to Sega's signature tile-matching puzzle game, Columns II revises the game into two new separate modes: the stage-based Flash Columns and the competitive one-on-one VS Columns.
A falling blocks puzzle game for the PC Engine. By matching pairs of symbols with opposing designs, they will cancel each other out and remove similar symbols from the grid.
