    Overview

Super Football Champ (also known as Super Football Champ: Taito CG Football Game) is a 3D belt-scrolling soccer game developed and released by Taito for arcades (using PS1-based Taito FX-1A hardware) on November 3, 1994.

The sequel to Hat Trick Hero '95, Super Football Champ brings the series into full 3D. It brings back the mini-map system (which is now significantly larger) while removing the power-up system (among other comical elements) and reducing multiplayer down to two players.

The game was later ported to the Sony PlayStation, released in Japan by Taito on November 29, 1996 and in Europe by Mindscape on October 1997. This version allows four-player multiplayer through the PlayStation Multitap.
