Capcom's Yoshinori Ono was on-hand at Sony's E3 2011 press conference to unveil a new version of the publisher's upcoming crossover fighting game, Street Fighter x Tekken for Sony's new handheld system, the PlayStation Vita.

The Vita version is aiming to deliver a full fighting game experience on the new system, and even comes with a goofy little bonus feature separate from the console versions: Infamous' electrifying hero, Cole. Ono even demonstrated a bit of his in-game fighting skills and, well, it looks ridiculous. Still, it's no weirder than Kratos wandering into the Mortal Kombat universe, right?

No word on whether the other version of the title, Namco Bandai'sTekken x Street Fighter, will get similar treatment, but that's probably up to Namco Bandai, isn't it?

Ughhh, all these crossovers...when is Street Fighter vs. Mortal Kombat coming to fruition!? That's the one I'm waiting for!

I felt trolled when I watched this and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I think Ono achieved his personal goal with that.

Not a fan of fighting games on portable systems or console-exclusive characters. Guess I'll stick to SSFIV AE (In a few hours) and hope whatever comes next is good. SFxT could be I guess.

Also, if they put some exclusive/ridiculous character in SFxT I'll be pretty disappointed. And no, the bear, panda, kangaroo and lizard are not ridiculous characters. Seth totally fucking is though, fuck that guy.

Cole doesn't seem weird at all to me. Fits in quite well with the green dude who also controls electricity.

I think Cole in SFxT wins for most unexpected cross over cameo thus far.

I could give  shit less about cole but I'm excited and pumped for the PS3 version of this.
