Spore Cute & Creepy Parts Pack
I was hoping for some expansions packs before EA starting churning out these 'part packs'. Oh well. Welcome to business.
I don't understand why anyone in their right mind would spend $20.00 for a few extra parts that could have been included in the full game and will have no effect whatsoever past the creature phase. Especially since the game needs a new update more than anything after the last one completely screwed up tons of people's game.
If it's a ton of parts, I'll probably buy it. I'm already sick of a lot of what the games come with. I paid $10 for the Creature Creator, this could be worth it.
"AvD said:You evil bastard!"The Sims: Stuff Packs, Spore: Parts Packs... all overpriced "expansions" that should be free or damn near it."True, but if I could keep putting out trivial amounts of content and have a bunch of fools pay for it every time, I have to admit I'd do it too."
"I fell for it with the original Sims with its 7 expansions, but I stopped there. I bought Spore, but I'm skipping any and all expansions and stuff packs."The Sims' expansions at least add things you'll use in the game. Spore hardly has replay value, and creature creation isn't exactly a marginal part. Unless you're someone that spends hours making creatures/vehicles/spaceships, this expansion is just worthless. Seems like Maxis just wants to blow out a million expansions just as The Sims, but have no perspective on what their game really is - Sims is a sandbox game, Spore is not.
If it was cheaper, I'd buy it. I like the creature creator enough to warrant a purchase, but not at $20.

But what people need to think about is that they will pay for things they like. Example: paying that monthly fee to play world of warcraft after you've already paid for the game. Paying 20 dollars for something you have until you get bored with the game is really not as bad as it seems.
I'd far rather spend the money on something that made the space stage less....monotonous. I'm so pissed at myself for buying this game. I haven't even finished it..I just get bored of doing the same exact thing over and over through grox territory.

looks like i had myself an early source, screens are in the gallery.
once there's enough packs and they go in extreme discount bundle, i'll pick them all up.
Else you spend more money for less content on the creature parts then the game itself. Which is rediculous to begin with.
That is if my copy of spore still runs by then... given that the install limit won't kill my disk beforehand.
