    I guess the beeping noise is supposed to warn me of incoming danger or something but jesus christ..the thing does not shut the fuck up. I keep hearing the beep over and over again. Does anyone know what I am talking about/how to stop it? I have been hearing it non stop for like an hour now...it is getting ridicolous.

    i haven't even played spore, so that's (sadly) the best advice I could give.

     I believe you're talking about the comm link.

    Well I dont know if its called that but when you're at inhabited planet they may be trying to contact you and that beeping is the sound of the communication ringing.  Click the blue button above the inhabitants picture.

    It could be the comm link, the ships radar, which you're supposed to follow, or a warning when you're low on energy (displayed in blue at the bottom right of your screen - below the health).

    The object that stops the beeping is a blue button located above a star system that has apicture of a sateliten, not that hard to find.
