Sparks is the Operator aboard The Logos hovercraft, serving under Captain Niobe and First mate Ghost. Sparks is a self-confessed coward and supplies most of the comic relief in Enter the Matrix. Routinely trying to talk Ghost and Niobe out of the insane missions they embark upon and just generally being a sarcastic pessimist is Sparks' modus operandi.
Sparks also acts as "the voice in your head" during missions in Enter the Matrix. He gives you directions, tips and information and keeps you going as you progress through each level. He is portrayed in voice and appearance by the actor Lachy Hulme.
