SNK Heroines Tag Team Frenzy

Overview

SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy is a 2.5D comedic tag-team fighting game developed by SNK and released by both SNK (in Japan) and NIS America (worldwide) for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on September 7, 2018.

A spin-off of the King of Fighters series (and the spiritual sequel to the 2000 handheld game SNK Gals Fighters), SNK Heroines is a more light-hearted take on the series and features an all-female cast (all in revealing outfits).

Along with its two-on-two tag-teaming system, the game features an updated special move system (with simplified controls and its own special "strength meter"), item pickups, and the "Dream Finish" system (where players can only defeat their opponents with unique finishing moves).

It was later ported to arcades (running PC-based Taito Type X3 hardware with the NESiCAxLive2 digital distribution platform) in Japan on October 11, 2018. It was also ported to the PC on February 21, 2019.
