Prince of Excess, Lord of Dark Delights, and Prince of Pleasure, Slaanesh is the Chaos god of lust, excess and hedonism. Born out of greed he feeds upon the perverted ecstasy of sentient beings in the material realm and attempts to lead individuals down paths of excess and self-corruption.
Slaanesh was born from the fall of the Eldar and caused the Eye of Terror, a great rift in time and space that can be used to travel to and from the realm of Chaos, to form. This event caused the downfall of the Eldar race and resulted in the destruction of most of their gods.
Typically Slaanesh is depicted a humanoid which is female on the right side and male on the left. This duality is also present in Slaanesh's symbol which is a amalgamation of the male and female signs.
The greater daemon and avatar of Slaanesh, The Keeper of Secrets, manifests as a monstrous and bestial creature. It is a lithe and terrifying entity radiant with an unholy beauty.
