    Overview

    The first in the Railroad Tycoon series and originally released in 1990. Choose a starting point anywhere in the world and build your first railroad track. Buy a train and some cargo wagons and compete with other railroad moguls. The sense of power and wealth you could gain from building your empire was unprecedented. This was one of the first god games, along with the earlier A-Train series.
