They really get these up quickly now. Damn. This is one of the most solid UPFs in awhile. I don't think there's much of a down point throughout and it was great to see the gang really just enjoying Speedrunners at the end.

Cross country series was awesome , was playing it back in the elementary school days and yes they made a USA version as well.

Harvester would have scarred me for life if I had played it when it came out. The total surrealism is almost creepier than the violence itself.

After looking more into harvester, I regret looking more into harvester. Super disturbing and uncomfortable in a way I can't get behind. I enjoyed the segment on the show, but I'd never play it on my own time.

Oh yeah, the bits with the baby eyes and the teacher beating that kid to death with a baseball bat were extra uncomfortable.

As for the final reveal behind the game...

You were in a computer simulation designed to turn you into a killer the whole time. It actually tries to have a message, but it fails at communicating what said message even was. Disappointing.

I missed the first part of this! Caramel Stroop Waffles are the shit! My Dutch heritage has afforded me quite a taste of this awesomeness. :) Also, did they blur out Jeff's Nike shirt?

@shodan2020: It is intentionally made to have the mosaiced/blurred look like you see on music videos where they blur out the brands on TV (largely because they want to be paid for any appearance of a brand on their networks).

Oh these happen in the afternoon? That's an annoying time to try and watch it.

Harvester is a horrifically bad game even by FMV standards, but it's interesting and funny to watch interesting and funny people playing it.

I'd pay upwards of money to see Vinny play through Harvester to the end. It gets so much more gloriously fucked up as it goes on. (although the firefighters are in terrible taste, and makes it hard to compliment the game)

@shagge: I'll never understand that kind of mindset. There are incredibly brutal acts of violence get shown in the game, and that seems to be ok. Yet the moment a stereotypical portrayal of homosexuality gets shown it's immediately deplorable. I just don't get it.

I think the firefighters were unfunny and unnecessary, that's all. I'm not saying "Ban this sick filth!", I'm saying it didn't fit the game at all, and in light of that, it felt like they were there simply because "lol gays".

I never called the game deplorable (in fact, I think it's better than its reputation, despite its many shortcomings, and I recommend it whenever I get a chance), I said a certain group of characters were in bad taste. Yeah, the whole game is in bad taste, but in a cartoonish Troma movie way. The firefighters are just... there. For no purpose other than to say "Ha! Gay firefighters, right? Can you imagine?"

The clutch factor on the super hero runner race thing was pretty great. Entertaining all around. Harvest is.. something else.. Great stuff, guys!
