Man, Golf? was so cool when it first came out! It is really neat to see it live on like this.

I've been playing through the old Mass Effect games, and it may just be my old ass PC, but my ME1 didn't look near this good. Wonder what's up with that.

Also, ME3 deserves an apology. People were way too hard on it; especially obviously now, in the light of Andromeda.

Squad is a great game, But a hard one to show off in this format. That game deals a lot in tension, Some of the most fun I have had is sat defending a point waiting for the enemy to attack, waiting for the first shot. The community around that game are all pretty good (Outside of a few people who really like to role play when they are playing insurgents) and the way the voice comms are set up is really neat. If you are on the fence give it a go this weekend. It's not for everyone but it's defiantly worth checking out.

"They released an even worse game" doesn't really make a bad game better in retrospect, though, just a new game even worse.

Yeah I never liked Ashley, total xenophobe. But I sent Kaiden to die, because it was an important job that needed to be done right. Can't trust Ashley with shit.

I read most of Alastair Reynolds novels including Revelation Space. Reynolds is good for naming ships Nostalgia for Infinity, Gnostic Ascension, Death of Sophonista , or Silver Wings of Morning.

The only author who makes better space ship names is Ian Banks. A ship called, Refreshingly Unconcerned With the Vulgar Experiences of Veracity, is an inspired chocie.

I work at a place with a ton of trades jobs, and those guys are getting dirty all day, so theres showers down in the shops. But I never quite got the work shower thing with office jobs.

Andromeda talk? Haven't we moved from Bioware's bad writing to Atlus's shitty streaming rules by now?

Man, I miss arcadey Racers so much, Burn out Revenge/Takedown, Split Second, Motor Storm etc.

I was following UPF stream while doing something else and at some point I looked at the stream, saw Mass Effect and was like "Man they really cleaned up those Andromeda faces and lighting with the patch, everyone looks so goo... wait a minute this isn't Andromeda!".

@entireties: Being boring is worse than being a jerk. Same as real life really.

As for Mass Effect i think one of the main differences between this first one and Andromeda comes down to the types of shots used and the timing of the cuts. Having plenty of wide angles and longer takes makes a world of difference.

P.s Alpha Protocol is actually pretty cool. I wish more games used its dialogue system.

@monkeyking1969: Alastair Reynolds much like Hideo Kojimo likes putting music influences for the names of his ships. It also helps that the ships with the best names are usually piloted by eccentric Post Mortals so far removed from the rest of humanity that their crews become small societies of depraved weirdos. With near infinite time, resources and no moral compass they tend of have god complexes and their ships reflect that.

If people cycle in in the summer or stuff it's nice to have. No one wants to spend all day sat next to a guy who stinks from his ride in to work. In my office some people go for runs in the lunch break. I guess in a trade job the shower is there for your comfort, in an office it's there for everyone else's.

Showing off Squad in any setting outside of 75+ players with very limited knowledge of the actual game mechanics is pretty counter-productive and damn depressing. Thanks for showing it I guess?

Ah. What a delightful pallet cleanser. I took the week off work to play Persona 5 and I'm over 50 hours deep and I think I'm maybe half way through? I think I need a doctor...
