First! (I'm lying)

Huzzah! Been looking forward to this.

Fuck yeah, I love me some Yakuza (named my cat kazuma)  Really wish they would fix the things the fans have been complaining about since the first game though, like the horrible map and movement controls.  The story is great though.  The starting hour or two of yakuza 3 was amazing, made you fall in love with the kids at the orphanage before sending you off to protect it.

It's actually a fact that the Yakuza go great with cereal.

The reminisce really is a brilliant addition for these games to have. It helped me realise that during that cutscene where Shun's homeless, is actually set during the near end of the original Yakuza game. 

Oh, God, I might have to buy this game. I'm so hooked.

Sitting on a Couch: The Movie: The Game

I have to say, I think the cutscene presentation, voice acting and pacing is brilliant. Other games attempting gritty, realistic cutscenes should take note.

Oh man and I complained about AC's un-skippable cutscenes. Good thing I've never even been near one of these games.

I'd kind of like to get into these games sometimes. Hasn't all of them come out in the US except for one that took place in fuedal Japan or something?

Didn't Persona also have a fat girl named Hana?  Is Hana code for Japanese fat girl?

Dear god Story hour adventures had faster pace than this.

I really appreciate this series' display of actual non-anime art style. People actually look like people.

 
Found Yakuza 3 in the bargain bin of our local supermarket this week. 
 
I know it's a Shenmue substitute (including the work-ethic tedium and nutty plotlines) but they really don't make this type of game anywhere else.

In a weird way, this Quick Look reminded me of Deadly Premonition. When the guy first started sprinting, I have-expected Ryan to pick up some Agent Honor. 

So this is the long awaited Loan Shark simulator game right?

I'm playing Yakuza 3 as I write this, so I'm guessing I shouldn't watch do to spoilers?

I know it wont happen, but I'd love me some Endurance Run action on this one. Seems perfect for it.

They dont seem quite as harsh with this game as they were with 3, maby going in knowing the games paced pretty damn slowly made them cut it some slack. Still though, this isnt how your meant to play these games. The bulk of the game comes in things that arent tied to the main story so if you exlore the city do some side quests, check in at hostess club and fight some street thugs etc. (there really is alot of stuff to do in kamurocho) inbetween missions you wont get driven mad by the slow pace of the main story. 

Almost an hour, sweet!
