Man, this game is coming in hot, in the worst sense. Somebody in a Discord I'm in compared it to the 2016 season of Berserk in terms of animation quality. For those not familiar with that season, here's an unedited clip from it...

The art style for this looks terrible

Wow yeah, the facial animations are just... not there. It all seems very slap-dash and not very well thought out, like the clashing of the toony characters and the incredibly prominent clothing textures.
Also are the music or sound effects not playing on some of these attacks? The mix seems very low on the game side.

And how dare you, Ben? Goku's voice is pure and good and he is not the same as Gohan, get the anime experts back on the case!

Hunter X Hunter is so damn good! It's legit awesome and really damn dark. Everyone should watch it, the 2nd series. Also Hisoka is the best villain.

They made this game only so that Black Clover dude didn't feel alone in screaming so much.

It's weird that the notion of "anime characters in hyper realistic Earth" is a neat idea for a video game but looks so shitty. Like, I don't know what I would do to make this work, or if it's even possible. The animations during the fights look great. A damn shame about the rest of it.

But I will never play it because I, like Ben, cannot bring myself to listen to Goku's japanese voice for any length of time. Also, it looks super shallow?
