I have zero interest in zombies or battle riyake but the standard multiplayer actually looks good. I will probably give it a shot it there are bots because fuck multiplayer.

~10 hours into SoD2, my 2 starting characters both have "fast metabolism" perk so they eat more food every day, making food problems even more dire. My only soldier died to back stabbing from NPC faction. In desperate need of hands, I recruited a freaking "political science" student who "overworked" in school and has low stamina, and a lady with mechanical skills but "unmotivated" so she doesn't count as work force for building stuff :(

The game IS titled like that—IIII and not IV.

@jeff I have followed GiantBomb for several years now and have heard you talk about Call of Duty several times. You often reference that you do not like zombies. I just cannot remember why you don't care for the mode. Any chance you could remind me?

Just curious. Normally when it comes to shooters my tastes normally align with yours, so that is where I am coming from.

Damn, is Patrick ok? It sounded like he drank 5 gallons of coffee during that COD/Fortnite segment. I think I could hear his hear racing through my headphones.

As I see they discuss Call of Duty in this one let me preempt my listen by saying Spec Ops as a mode was never THAT great and although I never really played zombies much, the level of detail and easter eggs they put into those modes is really impressive.

Brad's enthusiasm for State of Decay 2 - and hearing that it seems way more dire than the first - is making me want to check it out. I wonder how it looks/runs on the XB1 S...

I've put 20 hours into State of Decay 2 and outside of one tense incident I am just not finding the difficulty that Brad is. Blood plague is definitely a bad thing if you aren't paying any attention whatsoever, but I've only had 3-4 people contract it and I cured it every time, haven't had an incident with it in probably 10 hours.

Every Plague Heart house you finish gives you enough meds to craft at least 2, sometimes 3 cures, I currently have 10 sitting in my stockpile.

Similarly, haven't had an issue with resources and even the "tougher" boss level zombies get absolutely merked on approach to my base by ai with guns... Feels like I'm playing it wrong!

NICE to have Scoops back in! Refreshing to hear his voice and views again.
