This series is so fun. Honestly I'm really enjoying it. Even the technical hiccups and camera changes, and timer issues add just so much. May it never go smoothly :)

I know it was last weeks episode (I only finished last weeks on Monday), but when Dan was all sponsored up, Abby mentioned that she couldn't see anything but his beard. For whatever reason, sprite misreading came to mind (Agahnim in particular) and all I could think of was a parody of this.

It's real stupid, but it wouldn't go away.

So I did it.

I can not fucking wait to read the first comment that complains that they aren't taking their own show seriously.

Another fantastic episode

This is straight fire, easily the best episode they had yet. And the comedic timing with the game shenanigans and their commentary is top notch

Despite the ennui surrounding DK 64, I don't imagine the crew want it to be over so quickly due to it being pretty clear they have put money, time and energy into making it happen and keeping it going. It has been a fun ride but I feel like I'm lamenting it before it's over! So, as we live in the Age of GaaS, I would recommend making the last item go for a spooky 666 bananas (a Norman Reedus AMC bike show tie-in style equivalent for Six Crazy Frights where the show is advertised on the Funky Kong shop's folding screen) and a constant changing of the wheel's contents so that new stuff could happen every week.

Like, how about switching over to Goldeneye or Perfect Dark? When someone gets a kill in deathmatch, they take a banana off their victim. Or maybe 20. If it gets boring, then just literally add 'win last item' as a wheel spin and I'm sure we'll all enjoy you trying to avoid the golden bananas as you hunt for as many spins as you can in your 15 minutes like some batshit, broken late night game show that gets nixed by a network but garners a cult following until someone remakes it poorly in 25 years, and we all realise it was of a time. THAT TIME IS NOW, DAMMIT!

Another perfect ending

I think they could do a fantastic starfox 64 series, perhaps with specific objectives requiring them to take a specific route (they probably should use a guide, guessing could suck). Betting would work out great, and they can just restart runs upon death due to how short the game is.

Actually screw that, they really should just get a bunch of cool n64 games together, and do a wheel based game that isn't tied to one game straight from the beginning.

I hope the running bit becomes them making changes to the game every episode

I am enjoying the shenanigans of this series and how off the rails and insane it gets lol.

HOWEVER, they missed a golden opportunity to play Donkey Kong Country 2 with these rules! DK Koins and some awesome bets would make it absolutely hilarious and a lot faster too. It would still be a really long series if they were trying to get to the Lost World.

Think about it GBE! I think it would be amazing.

this is the best show

The sound indicating the game locking up at the end, brings back memeories for me. I had a copy of WWF No Mercy for the 64. During a four-way battle royale, I used a character to climb the top rope and planned to do an elbow drop to finish off my opponent, but what happened was way more devastating. I jumped and gracefully flew through the air towards my opponent and as soon as the elbow hit its target, all four wrestlers exploded into a tornado of polygons spinning wildy in the ring with a sound similar to the crash plus collsion noises. I wasn't able to do anything from that point on but gaze at the awesomeness that had just occured. I tried many times to recreate the event, but it only happened once.

I hope they call this series Snag My Stars.

One of these episodes they'll manage to do the Funky Shop right and the magic will die.

I think after a special item is purchased, the bananas used to purchase that item should be removed from the game. Like, "spending" them for other things puts them into the bank, but you must destroy them to turn them into a special item. Keeps the economy a little... neater.

Not a fan of "here we go" lasting the rest of the episode, mainly because it just really conveys they aren't having fun with the show because of DK64 and just want to do something else. I know the meme is that it's a bad game but isn't that part of the fun behind the series? I'd rather we just get an Antarctica ending and they cut the series short as promised if they genuinely aren't having fun instead of arbitrary swerves.

Love this show so much. Also, when Dan makes luck a game mechanic....

I'm still enjoying this series, but admittedly if I had known this was where it was going, I probably wouldn't have gotten a premium subscription.

I'm confident that after a year I'll still get more than my money's worth, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't disappointed since the initial idea of this series was the thing that finally convinced me to make the plunge.

Wish the episode deck didn't spoil things.
