I didn't think we'd be hearing deep psychological analysis of the Fast and Furious franchise, yet here we are.

Hell yeah let’s get this weekend started.

Oh man Supermash, the premise might sound great but it was quite obvious they were never going to do it justice. And then you play it and learn that the game deliberately introduces game breaking bugs into its mashes, just to make it even less likely that the result is worth playing.

Ben is so salty over this very serious and deep fast car movie.

I am the opposite of Business Dave. When I want an Uber or a Lyft, it is to get me from A to B, I do not want to have a conversation, I am not your friend, I don't care what you do, and I don't expect or want you to care what I do. Jeff is completely right. Han being back actually improves the previous movies since they feel like less of a betrayal working with Statham. Also 9 looks real fun. ALSO also, Ben thinks 8 was better than 7????

Thought I might ask this here because the Vermintide forums are gash and just in case anyone else has come across it - I came back to Vermintide 2 recently and it runs like absolute shite, drops to 15fps at times when it used to run at 100fps+ constantly. Was there an update or anything which broke it, and is there a workaround or fix?

Them bringing back Han is literally the only reason I plan on watching F9. 8 was a travesty. Also, didn't Letty get blown up in the fourth film? There's already precedence for this sort of thing.

Loved Ben's reaction, even when I think those movies are kinda entertaining at best and a horrible snoozefest at their worst. I still haven't watched 8, because they never did a commentary track (outside of them talking about it after the premiere) for it, which was the only reason I watched 1-7.

But I am admittedly curious over whatever dumb explanation they'll provide for that return.

Ben saying Han's death was the only emotional moment with weight in the series is weird considering the main actor literally died and they had a big send off, Giselle died, and the mother of Dom's child died

Ben's on a slippery slope of trying to apply logic to summer blockbuster action movies....

I could point to tons of movies from the 80s/early 90s that are questionable, but still highly enjoyable.

He's also looking at this with indsight, as Jeff alluded to. Bringing him back doesn't invalidate anything because as far as those characters know, he's been dead this whole time. There's films where you are supposed to watch it as a participant, and those you're supposed to watch as an observer, FF ist he latter.

On the one hand, bringing Han back is a sign that they are running out of ideas, and are reaching the point that they need to rely on nostalgia and cheap emotional grabs.

On the other hand: HAN! HAN! HAN! HAN! HAN! HAN! HAN!

Just to counteract all the Ben hate, the weekly Top 10 segments are garbage and ruin the flow of the show.

I sort of get why Ben's mad about this (very dumb) film series bringing back a dead character, but he lost me when he complained about the trailer being designed to get fans excited and talking on social media. Of course they would show Han in the trailer. It's an action film. If they don't get fans hyped up, they're not going to pay to see it.

Yeah I agree with this as well. I wouldn't mind the top 10 segment if it was just a quick 10mins long, because as it is, it drags on a bit.

What if that's not Han but an impostor and they put him in the trailer to trick you into thinking it's normal that Han is back?

I could not care less about Fast & Furious but holy hell, Ben, DON'T COUGH INTO YOUR HANDS!
