    Shar-Teel is the vicious, man-hating Fighter of Baldur's Gate, who will not join your party unless you beat her in combat.

    Shar-Teel is a female Fighter who can be recruited into your party in Baldur's Gate. She is found in one of the wilderness areas on the eastern side of the map, and will join your party if the strongest male party member can beat her in a duel

    Shar-Teel has a strong loathing for men, and needs no excuse to voice her opinion on them. Of the possible male party members, she holds an especial dislike for Eldoth. She also holds a hatred for the Flaming Fist mercenaries. If Shar-Teel is in the party in the later chapters of the game, it will be revealed in conversation that she is the estranged daughter of Angelo, one of Sarevok's lieutenants and a prominent figure in the Flaming Fist.

    Statwise, Shar-Teel has good dexterity and immense strength, but her constitution is very low, making her a weaker fighter than she otherwise might have been. Her personality and chaotic evil alignment will also make her a difficult fit in many parties.
