It tries hard and hits the mark better then most
Shadowverse is a really interesting game as a CCG and it has an amazing art scheme to it but most ccg's have at least great art. I really wanted to enjoy this game and I did for the most part minus the fact that I didn't understand what it was doing most of the time.
It's hard to introduce a CCG anymore with the 500 pound gorilla that is Hearthstone in the room but Shadowverse is a much better crafted game then most of its competition in that its mechanics are pretty sound and its graphics are really great. Its downfall for me was mostly in match making and progression. I felt like I was never really accomplishing anything and even when I won I felt like the game just felt sorry for me.
