Scribblenauts Unlimited
Game » consists of 9 releases. Released Nov 13, 2012
The fourth game in the Scribblenauts series focuses on cooperative multiplayer and content sharing, while further increasing the number of possible objects players can create.
Mario, Link, Others Come to Scribblenauts Unlimited
@DeF: Hm, can't say if no object editor would sway my decision one way or the other right now, but I guess I won't write off getting the WiiU version until it is out.

I like that their design is like Paper Mario. Where is that new Paper Mario game anyway?
Sticker Star is supposed to be out before the end of the year. I forget the exact date.
But Scribblenauts Unlimited is looking pretty awesome.
Nov. 11th for Paper Mario, one week before the Wii U launchs. I know what I'm doing during the final waiting week.
Should I assume the Steam version of the game will include an assortment of Valve characters? A weighted companion cube could be useful...
Man Ive wanted to play any of the Scribblenauts game but always seem to forget about it or playing something else.
Remember when Link was in Soul Calibur? I'd love to see this kind of thing happen more with Nintendo characters.
Can't say I'm looking forward to this game, though. I was pretty excited for the first Scribblenauts but lost interest after a couple days of messing around with it.
Loved this on the DS but I still haven't seen something that remotely interests me in buying a Wii U.

Gotta love Nintendo's approach. So this is how their 'creative cauldron' board meeting went earlier this year.
Nintendo Exec. 1: "Sooo... we've got this new Scribblenauts game planned. Don't know how to really 'big up' its profile for the U's launch though, if you know what i'm saying?"
silence.
Exec. 2: "OH I AM A FUCKING GENIUUUS! I know exactly how to 'big up' its profile!"
sudden intake of breath. all the other Execs are now leaning in with exasperated 'o' faces.
Exec 1: "HOW?"
Exec 2: "PUT FUCKING MARIO IN IIIT!"
all execs jumping and shouting, one foot to the next.
Exec. 1: "Why did we not think of that befooooooore!"
cue massive sales.
Well, Scribblenauts is published by WB games, but the spirit of this point. Nintendo fanboy appeals seem to be a huge part of most companies' Wii U plan. It's pretty clear 3rd parties don't see enough potential in their games without overloading them on Nintendo's mascots. You see the same thing with Tekken Tag 2.

Slow newsday, eh?
The internet would be a much more enjoyable environment if sites started banning people who thought they were witty and insightful by posting the equivalent of "THIS ISN'T NEWS" whenever they saw a news story that didn't appeal to their exact tastes.

Can't people theoretically make all the Nintendo characters and more on the PC version?
Probably, only time will tell!
