    Sanae Kochiya (or Kotiya) is the Stage 5 boss of Touhou 10 - Mountain of Faith. She can make miracles occur with her power.

    Overview

    A priestess of the wind goddess Kanako, and a miko at her shrine. Sanae possesses the ability to call on Kanako's great power, causing miracles to occur. When Kanako moved to Gensoyko to gather the faith the humans and youkai who lived there, Sanae came with her, leaving the outside world. She possesses divine lineage herself, as she is a descendant of Suwako.

    Trivia

    • The hair accessories she wears represent the two goddesses: the snake band represents Kanako, and the frog barrette represents Suwako.
    • She is one of the few Touhou characters to have come to Gensokyo from the outside world. As such, she possesses knowledge about pop culture and modern technology that most Gensokyo denizens know nothing about.
