When invading aliens capture the Saints and imprison their minds in a digital recreation of Steelport, it's up to the Boss (who by now has become the President of the United States) to free Earth from its oppressive new overlords.
@sooty: I liked it but it didn't feel as fresh of a moment that it did when they did it in Siants 3 with Sublime's "What I got" even better though was when Biz markie came on and they started singing and then Zinyak shows up and starts singing. "Zinyak just fucked up Biz Markie" now that part had me laughing.
They've been doing the radio sing-along thing since 2, so it's definitely not fresh, but I actually think I like Opposites Attract the best. It actually is a duet, and quite possibly the dumbest duet in history, so I think it's extremely well suited.
@chaser324: Oh man... they did that in Siants 2 as well? Shit, its been so long. I need to go back and play that.
In Saints 2 there is a trophy for having the Boss sing along to the radio.
It's a bit of a pain in the ass to get it to happen because it doesn't occur on a mission. There was one particular song for each voice that they would randomly sing when it came up on the radio. I think I remember Female 1's song being "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" by Tears for Fears.
@demoskinos: Yeah, Take on Me was one they would sing. Also, Pierce sings Ne-Yo in Saints Row 2 during a...Brotherhood mission? I think that's right. That's the birth of he and the Boss' singing relationship, because the Boss just makes fun of him the whole time there.
The Cockney guy would sing The Final Countdown in Saints 2. It had me on the floor laughing when I heard him terribly singing along to the synth part in the intro.
French Saints Boss Lady singing Paula Abdul, just reinforces her being the one true voice.
But on topic, that moment got a good chuckle out of me, I had to tip my hat for that one, and the 2nd one with Zinyak chiming in was kinda awesome,, I mean he did fuck up Biz Markie, he has to die now, right?
At first I thought this was just a joke that was a miss, and it was just a played out version of the song, having to do it twice, but then i heard the third voice... and started cracking up.
Saints Row is all hits and misses. But i don't mind that because more often then not, it hits.
