    Description:

    An elderly craftsman in the Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons series. Depending on the game, Saibara will either be the town's ceramist or the blacksmith. Though he is strict with a stern demeanor, he will generally be encouraging toward the main character.

    Saibara is also one of the few main characters that will be dressed in traditionally Asian clothing in all of his game iterations.

    Game Appearances:

    • Harvest Moon 64 - Runs a pottery shop in Flowerbud Village.
    • Harvest Moon: Back to Nature - Mineral Town's master blacksmith that will improve the protagonist's tools as well as take commissions for machines or jewelry. His grandson, Gray is his apprentice.
    • Harvest Moon: Friends/More Friends of Mineral Town - Same role as "Back to Nature." Has more scenes interacting with the other elderly members of the town.
    • Harvest Moon: Magical Melody - Saibara can be unlocked by shipping clay. He will move into Flowerbud Village and open a ceramic shop.
    • Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town - Same role as "Friends/More Friends of Mineral Town."
