Many games have ammo. In some, you can design your own. Ammo is put in a weapon and fired as a projectile.
The AT-4 is a single shot anti-tank weapon built by Saab Bofor Dynamics in Sweden.
A baseball bat is a smooth, wooden or metal club used in baseball to hit the ball, although many games use it as an accessible and effective blunt melee weapon.
A baton is a weapon used mainly for law enforcement. Kurtis Stryker from the Mortal Kombat series uses a baton.
A stabbing and slashing weapon used by video game characters. Can sometimes be extracted from dead animals.
A machine designed with the purpose of moving objects or characters vertically.
A fire extinguisher is a device used to control or extinguish small fires. Fire extinguishers are filled with pressurized (and often toxic) extinguishing agents designed to douse and subdue flames.
Above ground docking bay for fire hoses.
The first aid spray is a healing item in the Resident Evil series. It will always heal the character to full health, however it will not cure the player of poisons.
Green Herb is a recurring element of Resident Evil Series as well as many other games. It's used to replenish heath. It can also be combined with up to two other herbs (green, red, blue and in Resident Evil 4 there was also a yellow herb)
Considered one of the most frequent and controversial implements of destruction in video games and real life, guns are devices that fire projectiles with explosive force.
Used to open doors, or anything else that is locked. In any game where the player has an inventory, it's a safe bet that a key will appear at some point.
A ladder is used to gain access to higher or lower ground. Also used as a weapon in most wrestling games.
This classic plumbing fixture-turned-weapon is a common standby for street fighters and serial-killer-hunting detectives everywhere.
Machine guns, generally, are heavier weapons with a rapid rate of fire. To quote the Quake manual, they "eat ammo like popcorn."
Magnum is a term for a pistol or rifle cartridge packed with extra gunpowder to make it significantly more powerful than a standard round. Guns which have been designed to fire this ammunition often share the Magnum label.
An apparatus that fires nails or rivets. Not always designed as a weapon, but most often used as one.
Pants (a.k.a. trousers) are a type of leg covering.
A pistol is a very basic hand-held side arm, usually used in case of low ammo or tricky situations. They have appeared in many types of games.
A revolver is a type of handgun that holds ammo in a revolving chamber. It normally houses six rounds, and in games is usually more powerful than standard handguns.
The most powerful weapon at short range. Effective against Zombies, Nazis, Demons, etc. Videogame shotguns tend to have exaggerated inaccuracy at long range- real life shotguns are still fairly accurate over a decent distance, while videogame shotguns rarely go more than fifteen feet before becoming completely ineffective.
A six-shot, double-action revolver. It is chambered for the .44 Magnum cartridge.
A firearm capable of firing pistol ammunition automatically. Favored for shorter distances, or dealing death indoors.
A device that allows one to write documents with greater speed and efficiency than by hand.
