The girl I was playing with was uncomfortable when I told her to stand still and I zoomed in with my sniper rifle and stared at her body for a good two minutes.
Here's what I don't get. When Resident Evil portrays their zombies with "white" people, no one says shit. When Resident Evil portrays their zombies with "black" people, particularly the later series, it becomes some big ass controversy all over the internet, news, forums etc.

I think this thread should just die. It keeps disappearing for a week before someone decides to bring it back. So what if she suddenly wears sexy outfits? Don't use them yourself. Don't buy Soul Calibur 4 either or, well, almost any game with a woman in it. Go complain about Dead or Alive instead. It's Resident Evil. It's not a sexist series. They just know that they made a sexy character and that people would want to see it.

well first of all depicted with large shoulders and big arms ladies have the big boobs and flat belly and tiny buts .most females by nature are already insecure constanly looking in the mirror takeing hours to look just wright befor going out in public. now not all are like this but most are.women will wear low cut shirts exposeing there cleavage but god forbid if you happen to notice it she will think your a perve lol.ive seen a pretty girl walk into a night club if she so happens to be the most pretty girl the outher ladies lable her bitch or slut befor they even know her lol.even at the strip clubs ladies are alowed to touch the male dancers tho if a guy touches a female dancer he will get thrown out on his ass lol.also if you take a look at star trek what at 1 time said were no man has gone befor now must say were no one has gone befor ladies found the "WHERE NO MAN HAS GONE BEFOR "sexist so it had to be changed.Boy scouts there is anouther 1 it was a club for boys tho because that to is sexist girl are now alowed to join.Some golf clubs had a men only lounge tho that to is gone lol yet ladies have there lady only fitness centers.Even silly things like a police man now must be a ploice person fire man must be fire person a freaking man hole is now a person hole HA HA HA . Clubbin Sheva kinda looks like a tranny, but Stripper Sheva is pure win imo.
On a semi-serious/"it's japanese, which is the place with Nazi themed cafes, so it's not shocking and maybe they don't know any better since almost everyone there is the same race so these things never pop up in conversation" note, I think the fact that it's a woman dressed like that is less insulting than the idea that African Tribal attire = stripper outfit.

I'm a male and I like to have my girls in video games wearing clothing. Hottest playable character in the game? BSAA Jill. I just wish there'd be an option sometimes, this is a tangent but, Streetfighter 4 was horrible for that. I bought the costume packs hopping maybe cammy could put some pants on or something, and somehow she ended up with less pants than she allready had. Atleast resident evil 5 has the default sheva dressed sensibly, so there's one option I guess.
No one complain about Zangief. No one complain about Raiden running around butt naked. The guys can wear revealing clothes but not the girls? Who's sexist here ...
@LuckyWanderDude: It doesn't really have to anything with anyone being sexist, it's more perversion than anything. I mean, yeah. A girl may or may not like it, but it doesn't mean the male feels the woman is inferior in any way to explicit this. Although, overall I do agree with your intentions when it comes to this being wrong. Makes me feel bad. I won't go into detail of why it makes me feel bad 'cause someone will just say something like "Dude! You took that way too far." Or, "You hold love to such a high regard." Which is annoying. But trying to avoid conflict. I'll just save my opinion for myself.
I think the reason they make costumes for females in games is because of how desperate the male gamers are. I mean seriously have you ever checked out what walks into gamestop??? Gross beer bellied, balding, old, live at home with mommy men. Male gamers are pretty pathetic, and most cannot get a girlfriend, so they have a fantasy world where they wank to whatever female game character has the skimpiest getup. They would buy a game just for the pixelated females in it, and would complain they didn't show enough skin. Being a female gamer i can vouch for just how pathetic male gamers are. I love Jill and Sheva and think they are great characters, don't let it ruin your fun because they were degraded. Just be happy you aren't one of those sad, lonely gamers.
You want to see a woman in her sweatpants and messy hair, no makeup and fat as hell? No I don't think you do. I don't, and I'm a female :D Don't care what they are wearing, as long as they are wearing something. Actually now that I think about it, they don't HAVE to wear anything..
